On-campus Services
GRMC Health Clinic
Garrett College has teamed up with Garrett Regional Medical Center (GRMC) to provide on-campus health services for our students. The clinic is located in room 928 at the CARC and is open Mondays from 10am until 4pm (days/times subject to change). Walk-ins and appointments are available for the following services:
- Evaluation of simple illnesses or conditions,
- Treatment of minor colds, flu, infections, sprains,
- Lab testing,
- Counseling,
- And more!

The Dove Center
The Dove Center provides safety, advocacy, and counseling to individuals whose lives have been shattered by domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and strives to expand public awareness of those issues. A representative is available on campus Thursdays in room 690 in the Learning Center to provide counseling and awareness programming. As a member of the College’s Go4Health group, the Dove Center regularly participates in meetings with College officials to student needs regarding health and safety, and provides education and programming throughout the year.

Counselor on Campus
Susie Molek is serving as the College’s mental health counselor for the Fall 2023 semester. Counseling services are available Thursdays from 10:00am to 2:00pm and by appointments. To schedule an appointment or for more information, please email susie.molek@ghungurimpex.com.
Off-campus Community Partner Services:
Mountain Laurel Medical Center Services
Mountain Laurel Medical Center is accepting new patients and is available for routine healthcare needs for students requiring medical care but unable to access their Primary Care Provider while living in Garrett County. They are also available to any local students needing a Primary Care Provider or for any student experiencing a new medical problem. For students unable to reach their locations in Grantsville and Oakland, they are offering telemedicine visits.
As a member of the College’s Go4Health group, Mountain Laurel Medical Center regularly participates in meetings with College officials to student needs regarding health and safety, and provides education and programming throughout the year.

Garrett County Health Department
The Garrett County Health Department provides a wide variety of services to the Garrett County community, such as behavioral and mental health, medical, and family planning. As a member of the College’s Go4Health group, the Garrett County Health Department regularly participates in meetings with College officials to student needs regarding health and safety, and provides education and programming throughout the year.
